You know, museums are usually for arts, culture, history and a chapalang of the 3. So imagine my surprise when Subway announced their first ever Museum - Subway’s Big Museum of Taste. (BMT get it) To enter the BMT, you quite literally need to buy a BMT - because spending $12 at Subway gets you one ticket to Willy Wonka’s Choc-the Subway Museum. Spend $20 and you get 2 tickets, cool right?
Situated at 11 Prinsep Link, Singapore 187949, the Museum is around from 10 August to 30th August and opens its doors from 10 am to 9 pm.
How is it? Like ordering a sub, its value for money, full of great stuff and leaves you satisfied.
What We Saw Recap Room It's a Museum so it should be full of the history, culture, ups and downs right?
Wrong - heng ah. That is however a great thing. Instead of your typical museum, the history of Subway, its culture and interesting facts are laid out zun zun in the starting room.

Fun facts can also be learnt from an interactive quiz booth further in.

Other than this, I didn't see info dumps anywhere, everything else was more interactive(Which is great!)
Photo-Op
Want to feel like a Subway sandwich artist without the pressure of getting that bread (literally)? Can one!
The museum plays host to the familiar Subway counter we've all ordered from and they even have aprons!

If you're vertically challenged, no problem! Subway's got you too with movable stools.
Further down you'll find an adorable cookie photo op Cookie Monster could only dream of.

Subway ain't a loner so they jio'd their friend Coke too. While it's a small corridor, a glowing coke frame stands tall to conclude your Subway journey.

The Cl -awe.
Coke isn't the only fella at the party too because Foodpanda has a whole room to themselves.

If you think food delivery was getting sibei expensive - well you're right lah, but you can win Foodpanda vouchers from their claw machine!
There are also cute keychains and other prizes!

Subway Timezone:
The most fun part of the Subway Museum, however, is its Subway Arcade.

Okay, actually, they don't call it an arcade. It's a collection of four games to build your sub.
However, these games are damn fun- riffing off your arcade favourites and requiring an arcade pass to play - really like Timezone sia.
Want to play those arcade drumming games? You can knead the dough by hitting drums at Doughpound.

Show off your dance moves. Flavour Roulette is a simpler Dance, Dance, Revolution.

Fruit Ninja? Got one, but cut vegetables - Vegeslice.

Just like most arcades though, the game controls aren't the most sensitive so sometimes things don't register.
See, same same but different.
No Such Thing as Free Lunch- but got Free Snack

Swee, having completed your adventure, you'll get a FREE cookie & Coke! (they got Coke zero too!)
Subway Socks, Footlong Fashion, Big Marketable Toys

Subway used to be Eat Fresh- but now right, can look fresh too.
The room you collect your freebies flaunts a display of Subway drip: from socks to tote bags and Giant B.M.T Plushes.
Oh and don't expect Universal Studio prices! It's pretty affordable!
Service is an Art Form:
You know the standard your parents set for who you bring back? Very high right?
Personality-wise,I think they would pass.
The staff are friendly, polite, patient and observant.
Given its fresh take on a museum, the staff takes time to explain how it works at the start.
Inside, they can also spot if you are a blur sotong and will help you along.
If there's a kid who can't reach the games, don't worry they'll bring stools without asking.
Honest Opinion:

Play it your way! - 5/5
If you told me before this that Subway has the best Museum, I would have gone "Sure boh?".
After going there, I can confirm it.
Subway delivers a masterclass - with damn fun interactive exhibits and parent-approved staff.
Perhaps the bigger picture is key. For icons like Subway, it must be very tempting to deep dive into history, the highs and lows - as would any museum.
Instead, right, they focused on the feeling. What makes Subway THE Sandwich store - the sandwich creation, creating a playground for both kids and adults.
Funny sia, their new catchphrase is Eat Good, feel good. I don't feel good. I feel great.
Thanks for making me feel like a kid again Subway. If you're planning on checking out the museum, they open from Monday to Thursday at 10 am - 9 pm at 11 Prinsep Link, Singapore 187949. From Friday to Sundays, they open from 10 am - 11 pm.
