Mac Donald's price for restaurant-quality burgers at Tiong Bahru? Sure boh? Sure!

Bro, you know how we all know Tiong Bahru market got a lot of cheap local food? Now they got restaurant-quality burgers at affordable prices too.

If you're thinking "Sure boh?" I can tell you confirm one. Have you heard of Skirt & Dirt?

This humble hawker store sells a variety of delectable Burgers, fries and other sides, and has just celebrated its 2nd anniversary.

2 years - that's how I know it's good, cause got a reputation, but at The Honest People, we like to help you double confirm.

What we ordered:

I first tried the Big Bad Wolf Pork Burger($7). What's damn funny is that the burger isn't big. You know what's big though, the flavour - with a juicy pork patty paired with melted cheese, crunchy vegetables and crispy bacon(which I wish there was more of).

I then had the Dirt Fries($5) which were bigger than my face sia. The crispy fries were decked out in savoury nacho cheese, bacon bits and an interesting twist - sweet pickles sauce.

Location & Service:

The store's modern black aesthetic makes it stand out from the line of conventional-looking stores; finding it is as easy as spotting those pesty salespeople we all wanna siam from.

The staff are also pretty chill.

Honest Opinion

SKIRT ON OVER - 4/5

If distance is not a problem upgrade your burger game at Skirt & Dirt. Oh and guess what, they got a Bukit Timah branch called Skirt & Dirt Signatures too(westies going heng ah).

The Burger prices are far more reasonable than trendy bubble teas and the taste rivals those fancy Clarke Quay restaurants.

Be sure to jio someone and try their Dirt fries, it's not something to be missed.

Skirt and Dirt may be its name lah, but finding this place felt like hitting gold. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By Bus

Take 5, 16, 16M, 33, 63, 63A, 123, 123M, 195, 195A, 851 and alight at Block 18(10141) on Tiong Bahru Road. Walk down the middle path to Lim Liak Street and cross to reach Tiong Bahru Market.

By MRT Alight at Tiong Bahru Station. From Tiong Bahru Station(10169), take 5, 16, 16M, 33, 63, 122, 123, 123M, 195, 851 to Blk 1 Bus Stop(10149) Cross Tiong Bahru Rd and walk into the neighbourhood to reach Tiong Bahru Market.

By Car

Street parking is allowed on Lim Liak Street and Seng Poh Rd.
